Panthers vs. Patriots NFL Pick – Preseason Week 3

Week 3 of the NFL Preseason kicks off Thursday night with six games to the card. For that which folks refer to rehearsal the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots have been in activity at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. I really don’t know about that in this case. Tom Brady may or might not play in this match. It’s not a great deal of dress rehearsal without Brady taking a snap.
Brady has said he would like to find some snaps in the preseason, however, Bill Belichick, in Belichick fashion, has not disclosed much. The Patriots have looked good, despite not playing in the preseason. Depth does not look like a problem for the Patriots, especially for their defense that’s currently going to be useful from the regular season.
The Patriots enter in the preseason with 22-17 within the Titans and wins within the Lions of 31-3. They seemed crisp and sharp in both matches on the road. The Lions did not come close to scoring a touchdown in the contest, as the Patriots came close to throwing a shutout. Note that Brady hasn’t played a down, so that they did just fine with the backups playing.
Brian Hoyer has a lot of expertise in the NFL, so if he gets the start here, it’s not likely to be something new to him. Cam Newton has not played in the preseason as well. He is coming from a shoulder injury which severely limited his capacity to zip the ball round .
Newton will find an opportunity to shake off the rust off . He played through the injury when he probably shouldn’t have. The Panthers weren’t a playoff competition, so pushing Cam wasn’t a good move. Ron Rivera has said that Newton and series against the Pats will perform in three or four.
We likely won’t know until just prior to the match with Belichick is going to do with Brady, however they’re in good company with two quality copies. Head below for our complimentary Panthers vs. Patriots select for Week 3 of the NFL Preseason.

This is a chance for Cam to shake off the rust and convince himself using an NFL field. Nothing is going to be too exotic for the offense within this area. The Panthers started the preseason with a win against the Bears in the road, 23-13, and a loss at home against the Bills. It’s become clear that the Panthers are likely to have no success without Newton.
The quarterback play behind Newton is not really encouraging. The Panthers drafted Will Grier. He put up monster numbers in college, but that was a shotgun passer in the Big 12. Not every quarterback can go to the NFL and instantly produce like Baker Mayfield or Pat Mahomes. In fact, there are far more 12 QB busts than men that have found success.
The transition is usually tough to get quarterbacks playing that sort of spread offense. For Mahomeshe gets with his ability. Grier does not have exactly the identical capability to run about and make something. The Chiefs were clever as well by implementing elements of Mahomes’ crime at Texas Tech.
This crime in Carolina is built round Cam Newton, obviously. Grier will get to demonstrate a great deal more before he has coordinators structuring a playbook around his skillset. Grier is coming from a performance that is shoddy, as he passed for 75 yards with an interception on 10-of-19 passing. I really don’t have much faith in Kyle Allen and Tyler Heinicke against this profound New England defense too.
Who I do have faith in his Patriots’ rookie Jarrett Stidham. I enjoyed Stidham when he was in school when he was among those few quarterbacks to work out the Alabama defense and I still like his outlook. Everyone seemed to forget about him if it was done, although stidham was discussed often during the college football season. The Patriots scooped him up in the fourth-round so far so great in New England.
Stidham passed for 179 yards and a touchdown against the Lions and followed it up with another marquee operation against the Titans. Stidham torched the Titans for 193 yards and a touchdown in a 22-17 win. Spreads are covered and blown by 4th quarter play in the preseason. At house on Thursday night, I have more confidence at the Patriots’ backups to outperform that the Panthers in this .
