N Ireland vs Germany
European Qualifiers Group C
7:45pm Monday 9th September
Because Germany was delivered by the thunderbolt of Marcel Halstenberg on their way northern Ireland suffered their first defeat of their Euro 2020 qualifying effort.
The first of four crunch fixtures from the powerhouses of Team C – Northern Ireland confront The Netherlands at Rotterdam second – ended in defeat following Serge Gnabry rolled at a second in stoppage time, but the 18,000 fans packed in to Windsor Park will barely have been discouraged given their side screen.
Michael O’Neill’s men played with heart and want since a crowd roared on them, but finally the superior quality of Germany watched them take charge after the break.
The opening goal was a moment of caliber as Halstenberg met Lukas Klostermann cross with a potent half-volley that flew past Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
For the opening 45 minutes, Northern Ireland analyzed Germany’s resolve in the aftermath of their devoting four goals in defeat to the Netherlands on Friday. The Germans haven’t dropped qualifiers but they looked as Northern Ireland poured unnerved in the opening exchanges.
Conor Washington poked within the minute and was then denied by a good save from Manuel Neuer.
Germany gradually began to take the sting since they hogged possession and created chances of their own, together with George Saville taking.
A dramatic end to the first half then followed. Stuart Dallas’ cross triggered a goalmouth scramble but Neuer emerged with the ball while Peacock-Farrell left a point-blank save from Werner since Germany tried to hit them as Washington could not stretch far enough.
However, for the hard work in the first half of all Northern Ireland , Germany had only 3 minutes to start the scoring at the second. Peacock-Farrell had made a good save to deny Klostermann from the opening moments but there was nothing that he would do when Halstenberg and Klostermann cross moments fulfilled with later.
It may have been moments later while Gnabry poked the ball just wide until Klostermann fired wastefully over to the follow-up, but Brandt was refused by the Burnley stopper.
Germany have been at full flow today and Peacock-Farrell created an outstanding save to drive on the low shot of Werner just round the pole after a blend with Marco Reus.
Northern Ireland had to regroup, but had been screaming for a penalty when Paddy McNair then saw Dallas fire wide from replacement Gavin Whyte’s cross, hit the deck on the hour.
O’Neill threw on Josh Magennis and youthful Linfield striker Shayne Lavery in the final stages but they fought to create an impact and it was Gnabry who had the final state, beating the offside trap then Peacock-Farrell in a tight angle at the next minute of time added on.
Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill believed his side missed some huge chances since they suffered a defeat to Germany.

Undoubtedly the marquee matchup of the week occurs in Manchester, at which Man City will sponsor a upstart Spurs side. Even though City are favoured to carry home the Premier League name, Tottenham were expected to at least close the gap this season. They’ve produced some notable acquisitions over the July transportation window, and the style they use might be problematic to Pep Guardiola’s Man City group.
This has all of the makings of an instant classic, and there will be no shortage of talent, and hopefully goals on screen. The two squads began their respective campaigns with persuasive and impressive victories over lowly opposition, and will certainly be eager for a step-up concerning quality and class.
Continue reading below the chances for a complete preview, breakdown, and gambling prediction for the Spurs vs. Man City. This match is one you can’t miss!
Manchester City (-294)
Tottenham Hotspur (+750)
More than 3 (-118)
Under 3 (-102)
Manchester City -1.5 (-103)
Tottenham Hotspur +1.5 (-117)
Though these are a couple of the possible top-3 Premier League sides going on, the chances indicate there is still a massive gap inside the table. Even though Man City possess the expertise and current variant, the Spurs have definitely narrowed the disparity between the sides and will be happy to prove this in the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
The Spurs’ defense is going to be strengthened entering this clash since it is believed Jan Vertonghen will reevaluate the fold. That should help against a potent Man City assault. Beyond this, the Spurs will also be daunted by an appearance from fresh boy Giovani Lo Celso who must add some real flair and imagination to the Spurs’ counter. He’ll be joined by the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane front, and that trio really ought to create issues for Manchester City. Last week, youngster Tanguy Ndombele made his debut at a Spurs blouse and shirt directly from the get-go. In his first big match at the club, he must also be counted on to make a positive contribution.
Even though many feel that Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino will probably head north with the hopes of enjoying to procure a draw, the Spurs’ lineup isn’t built like that anymore. They have valid firepower and possess the essential skill and quality to take a run in the defending champions. Should they go to the Etihad and have a real move, their results should be optimistic.
Yes, Man City boast a transitional assault just like few others have observed. Their thickness and quality is unmatched, however, the Spurs are among the few sides that have the hardness and size within the midfield today to slow them down and perform the match at their own pace. We’ve seen the likes of David Silva, Kevin de Bruyne, Sergio Aguero get closed down earlier — why can’t a better Spurs’ midfield and defense do the same? Let’s not overlook that the Spurs bested Man City last year at the Champions League, and they’ve drastically enhanced the quality of their group at many key positions.
Although this game is being priced as though it’s a drastic mismatch, that just isn’t the case. Tottenham will reveal they have the caliber to play with Manchester City and if they shield the ball and make sure they don’t get caught with too many ahead — I enjoy Tottenham’s chances to maintain this tight during. While I would not rule out a lure, Tottenham Hotspur +1.5 goals seems like the very best market to become involved with this. Appreciate what should be a thrilling affair between both of these giants of England.
UFC Fight Night 151 happens May 18 at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York, and the card recently had a number of bouts added to it. My initial thoughts on the new matchups are under.
Megan Anderson vs. Felicia Spencer, UFC Fight Night 151
A fascinating women’s featherweight bout between former Invicta champions Megan Anderson and Felicia Spencer is set to happen at UFC Fight Night 151, and the winner could very well be set up to get a shot in Amanda Nunes’s 145lbs belt after she gets through her UFC 239 matchup against Holly Holm.
Anderson (9-3) chose to Holm within her Octagon debut this past year in UFC 225 but rebounded nicely with a first-round TKO win over Cat Zingano in UFC 232. Together with seven stoppage wins, Anderson is one of the most dangerous female featherweights on the market. Spencer (6-0) won the Invicta title in her final bout, a submission win over Pam Sorensen. She has completed four of her struggles because making her MMA introduction in 2015, and the Montreal native seems to be a fantastic signing by the UFC as among the few authentic female featherweights in the game. Although Spencer shouldn’t be counted from this fight, given Anderson’s past UFC experience advertising popularity, I would expect her to be a big favorite here.
Neil Magny vs. Vicente Luque, UFC Fight Night 151
Welterweight contenders Neil Magny and Vicente Luque are set to match, according to a report from Farah Hannoun. Magny (21-7) is 14-6 at the UFC and is coming off of a brutal KO loss to Santiago Ponziibbio past November. Luque (15-6-1) is 8-2 in the UFC with all his wins coming by stoppage, and he is currently riding a four-fight win series that comes with a knockout win over Bryan Barberena in what’s arguably so much the 2019″Fight of the Year” in MMA. Magny has been an underrated welterweight and has proven to surprise from time to time, but awarded Luque’s win series and his absurd completing power, you need to prefer him quite heavily to get the business done .
Antonio Carlos Junior vs. Ian Heinisch, UFC Fight Night 151
Middleweights Antonio Carlos Junior and Ian Heinisch are set to lock horns after Heinisch’s struggle against Tom Breese at UFC London fell through at the last minute due to a Breese medical dilemma. He’ll rather get the chance to battle a higher-ranked competition in the form of Junior, the prior TUF winner.
Junior (10-2, 1 NC) is 7-2, 1 NC at the UFC and is now riding a five-fight win streak that includes a submission win over Tim Boetsch in his last outing, which will be important to not occurred last April. Heinisch (12-1) is one a four-fight win streak and conquered Cezar Ferreira by choice in his UFC debut. This is going to be a competitive fight, but given Junior’s Octagon experience and vaunted submission match, you need to slightly favor him to win this bout.
Davi Ramos vs. Austin Hubbard, UFC Fight Night 151
A lightweight bout between Davi Ramos and Austin Hubbard is set for this particular event. Ramos (9-2) is 3-1 in the UFC and has won his last three fights via rear-naked choke. Hubbard (10-2) was the LFA lightweight champ and is riding a three-fight win streak into this fight. Hubbard is an intriguing prospect but Ramos has shown he can complete opponents inside the Octagon, and he must be a strong favorite here.
Danny Roberts vs. Michel Pereira, UFC Fight Night 151
Welterweights Danny Roberts and Michel Pereira are place to fight. Roberts (16-4) is 5-3 in the UFC and he’s coming off of a controversial submission reduction to Claudio Silva. Pereira (21-9, 2 NC) is making his UFC debut following a KO win in Road FC. Together with his UFC experience, expect Roberts to be the favorite.
Julio Arce vs. Julian Erosa, UFC Fight Night 151
And eventually, a featherweight bout between Julio Arce and Julian Erosa is set, according to a report by Nolan King of FloCombat. Arce (15-3) is 2-1 at the UFC and lately had a seven-fight win streak snapped with a split decision loss to Sheymon Moraes his out time. Erosa (22-7) is 0-3 at the UFC over two stints and is now riding a two-fight losing skid. This looks like a fantastic bounce-back struggle for Arce, who I expect to be a big favorite.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes escaped significant ligament damage when he dislocated his kneecap that was right and there is controversy the NFL MVP may be back to the field in around a month.
An MRI test revealed that Mahomes dislocated his right kneecap in Thursday night’s game against the Denver Broncos, but given a positive outlook.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter, mentioning league sources, tweeted the MRI effect was a”best-case situation” That usually means a limited absence for its reigning league Most Valuable Player of all”about three matches,” Schefter reported.
Together with his group up 13-6 and facing a line with 10 minutes left in the quarter, Mahomes ran a sneak.
But Mahomes remained on the floor, and if trainers came out, they appeared to be massaging his knee. The 24-year-old was able to walk off the area with assistance, then once he had been off the area, managed to walk without assistance down the tunnel toward the locker room.
Head coach Andy Reid verified Mahomes failed the MRI but stated he did not have the results yet when he met with the press Friday afternoon.
Mahomes entered the game playing to a tender left ankle he sprained in the season opener and aggravated many times, such as Sunday .
The Chiefs defeated the on Thursday to move to 5-2 and retain their lead.
Mahomes began leading the NFL. He was 10-of-11 departure for 76 yards and a touchdown.
After the accident, the Chiefs turned to veteran backup Matt Moore, who completed 10 of 19 pass attempts. Reid verified that Moore would begin Kansas City’s next game on Oct. 27 at home against Green Bay.
In 10-plus NFL seasons with the Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins and Chiefs, Moore, 35, Moore has completed 59.4 percent of his moves 7,055 yards with 46 touchdowns and 36 interceptions.
Another copy, 34-year-old Chad Henne, remains on injured reserve after breaking a foot in the 24, as he recovers from surgery. The Chiefs signed Moore, who sat out the 2018 season, following Henne’s injury.
There’s no guarantee he will be prepared to play then, although henne can not come off the IR till later Week 8. Reid stated the Chiefs were contemplating elevating an undrafted rookie from Vanderbilt, quarterback Kyle Shurmur , from the practice squad.

Czech Rep vs N Ireland
6:00pm Monday October
Paddy McNair scored as Northern Ireland withstood a second-half fightback to record an friendly win in Prague.
Michael ONeills side were great value due to their 3-0 half-time lead as McNairs clinical opener (9) was introduced to by Jonny Evans after Czech Republic failed to clean out some set-piece (23).
McNair hurried onto Steven Davis pass to sweep at a third to the traffic (40), however afterwards crumbling from the Netherlands, Northern Ireland were thankful for its final whistle after being pegged back at the next half.
The hosts improved dramatically following the break as quickfire goals from Vladimir Darida (67) and Alex Kral (68) threatened to spoil Northern Irelands night, but there wouldnt be any repeat of Rotterdam.
ONeill had neglected to register a win in any of his preceding 12 off friendlies as Northern Ireland manager, but afterwards Ronald Koeman labelled his sides strategy asdreadful to observe, this was lucky number 13 and the perfect riposte.
Despite the euphoria of finish Englands 43-game unbeaten streak in World Cup and Euro qualifiers on Friday, there were plenty of empty seats around the Generali Arena – which proved a case of following the Lord Mayors series for the Czechs, who made 10 changes.
The people survived an early scare when a clearance by Evans enabled Josef Husbauer to cross for Radim Reznik to head towards goal, but Michael McGovern – on his return to the side – retained his campaign out from six yards.
Nevertheless, it had been ONeills men, experimentation with a formation – who broke the deadlock as McNair struck at the ninth minute, latching on to Liam Boyces low cross and beating on his guy to fire beneath goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka.
Plus it was 2-0 in the 23rd minute when a corner caused chaos. Tom Flanagans attempt was blocked but the ball fell for Evans to fire into the roof of the net.
Gavin Whyte was refused using the hosts from close range . The hosts squandered their best chance of the first half as Kral pulled down the ball for Michael Krmencik and conquer McLaughlin on the left, but he could not locate the target.
And things got worse to the Czechs at the 40th minute as Davis slipped the ball McNair driven towards goal and from inside his own half rounding thekeeper.
The scourge of all England, zdenek Ondrasek, came on at the break and he revitalised the attack, however, Craig Cathcart made a fine block to deny him a impact.
The replacement fired extensive as the hosts continued to show increased urgency, along with Northern Ireland were reversed twice at the space of two minutes, although Jan Kopic for another decent opportunity set up ondrasek on the hour-mark.
The side of jaroslav Silhavy reduced the deficit once Darida shot through a crowded box has been hot for McGovern. And Kral strode forward and hit a second to the bottom left corner of the net, before Northern Ireland could draw attention.
But after radically devoting two goals in stoppage time in the Netherlands, Northern Ireland held their nerve at the four minutes to triumph at which England failed.
Former Northern Ireland defender Gareth McAuley informed SSN…
It was all about the outcome tonight. They showed grit, determination and plenty of heart.
It is the first away friendly that weve won in 13 games so it is a big result, particularly after another night.
The four substitutes altered the match and made a enormous difference. They awakened us back in and we defended for most of the second-half. It turned out to be a operation that is dogged and you Michael will be proud with.
Northern Ireland now sponsor Netherlands on November 16 in Euro Qualifying set C, before a Visit to Germany on November 19, using both matches kicking off at 7.45pm and live on Sky Sports.

At the start of the year, OVER stakes were cashing in a ridiculous rate. That trend has been curved — hard. Goals scored per match went from well over six to 5.30 — a few that is actually the lowest since 2003. If you have before the slump and started betting UNDERs, it’s likely paid serious bucks as just eight teams of 30 have cashed more OVERs than they’ve UNDERs.
Here’s a look at the five finest OVER teams and also the five finest UNDER teams in the NHL:
Greatest OVER teams
It’s beginning to become more challenging to find good spots to wager on the OVER with goals starting to come way down however the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers just keep burning out light bulbs and providing puck fans like me hope that one day everybody will like hockey. For now, they are the only teams that have cashed OVERs in over 60 percent of the matches and everything is terrible.
Luck would have it that these teams play this day against each other and the total at the time of writing was 5.5. The Rangers and Flyers have united for an O/U listing of 22-12 in games in which the total has closed at the number. This game is yelling for targets and I may be taking advantage of some Overall props today.Best UNDER teams
As I said in my opener, the tide has turned for complete bettors and 20 of the 30 NHL teams have posted more UNDERs than OVERs. This is a trend that has been great for sportbooks and not so great to your bankroll with the public cash generally coming in on the face of the OVER.
With that in mind, let’s look at some teams that have been keeping the puck from the internet and that have been making accountable, forward-thinking bettors money — hands over fist.
No. 1 on the list is your San Jose Sharks, who were far and away the best team in the league to bet totals on. If you’d wager the UNDER in every Sharks match this season, you would have lost your cash only twice in 20 bets and cashed out a gain 15 times. The California Fish are among the soundest defensive clubs in the league but have not quite figured out their crime and also have one of the lowest totals in five-on-five goals scored.
San Jose began the season with an O/U record of 1-10 and has since gotten a total of 5.5 merely after. Bookmakers have adjusted but can not put totals low enough for the Sharks right now.
I am taking on the favorite from the ITV sander and siding with SUN POWER (best cost 7-2). It is still tough to fathom how Sun Power dropped last time the two-year-old seemed to pull away from the field but Al Dabaran billed straight towards the point. He beat some pretty decent horses in that race including Oh Purple Reign who has gone on to examine. The rain overnight shouldn’t be too much of a concern.
GROWL (best cost 10-1) was rated 114 not too long ago and has dropped all of the way down to 89. There are reasons behind the fall from grace, however, the seven-year-old has revealed there is something left from the tank by finishing in the top five on three occasions this year. Against this competition it would be dumb to not back Growl at the double figure price.
ROYAL PROSPECT (best cost 12-1) narrowly beat the gifted Muscika last time out, a horse which has beaten plenty in this field before. Muscika has gone on to finish second in 2 pretty decent races because. Royal Prospect has yet to be tested on appropriate soft ground, but did triumph in softer conditions back in June.
DURSTON??(best price 13-2) is a enormous price and has the capability to beat this small field. There’s no doubts Morando’s a good horse, especially after than triumph at Chester before in the year. However, Durston only keeps on advancing and ran a cracker to lose narrowly to Sir Ron Priestley out time.
This seems a very tricky race with little between the majority of the field. The only one that stands out to me personally is REVOLUTIONISE (best cost 10-1). The three-year-old was pretty disappointing out last time at this track, when he finished last in a good field. But that has been in far better company and following an extremely awkward start. I’m going to give him a second go.
RIPP ORF (best cost 7-2) has been operating in much better races in this way, and I’m surprised that the five-year-old isn’t shorter. He’s won off a higher mark than this, also ran a nice race to finish fourth at Ascot out time. David Elsworth’s horse is going to have no concerns with any rain.
The two Muscika and also Belated Breath look cracking each-way stakes with six locations available. BELATED BREATH (best cost 14-1) has put four times this season already, all of which have come on earth with no cut in it. The only real time the four-year-old has just had a bit of juice from the floor she blew away the area, albeit it being a very weak area. This is a tiny gamble, however, well worth chancing given how persistent she is.
MUSCIKA (best cost 14-1) is another very reliable horse who has finished second four out of the last five races. The five-year-old has only been narrowly beaten in all those races with horses. Last time out he dropped to Lahore and also the time prior to Dakota Gold. David O’Meara’s horse is yet another who will take pleasure in the rain immediately.
I’m backing HEY GAMAN (best price 4-1) to reverse the kind on Sir Dancealot, after finishing second to the David Elsworth horse at Goodwood. The four-year-old won two before in the calendar year, but was runner-up about the two rides because. If there’s more rain than anticipated then it may bring more horses to the race including Donjuan Triumphant.
WIN DOUBLE: Sun Power & Ripp Orf @ 19/1
Please let us know if you agree.

BBC Sport Wales at Oita, Japan
Wales wing Josh Adams is aiming to coincide with World Cup greats Jonah Lomu and Bryan Habanas attempt tally.
Adams is joint top scorer at the 2019 championship together with Japan wing Kotaro Matsushima.
Habana (2007), Lomu (1999) and Julian Savea (2015) have scored eight attempts in a single tournament.
There are some legends there, it wouldnt be awful to combine that list, do it? said Adams.
The 24-year-olds first target will be to overcome at the Wales list of six set by Shane Williams in the 2007 championship in France.
Fingers crossed with three more games to go, hopefully I can pip him said Adams.
We will wait and watch.
Ahead in Oita of the quarter-final against France on Sunday, Adams admitted he found it a surreal adventure after making his Test debut just 18 months ago following an impressive season with former team Worcester.
It is extremely exciting, explained Adams.
You could argue it is the biggest week in my career so much with playing in a World Cup quarter final.
Id never have said I would be standing here telling you that 18 months ago, but Im over the moon to be here. Hopefully I can get out there following Sunday and do everybody
Adams and center Hadleigh Parkes are the only players to Begin all four matches for Wales together with the side of Warren Gatland in Japan defeating Fiji, Australia, Georgia and Uruguay to top Pool D.
The Cardiff Blues wing overcame a leg suffered scoring a hat-trick before crossing against Uruguay four days afterwards.
I came out of this game okay, explained Adams.
It was tender, but it is something you cope with and it did not stop me.
I will just manage that this week with all the seven times and Ill be with no following Sunday if chosen.
Weve got seven days now which is fine, especially after the four days we have just had. This has been tough, especially backing up.
However, Adams states playing with two matches in such a brief space of time retains himrugby tough.
He added:If you take little knocks and you have had a time away they have a tendency to linger a bit more.
When you are playing in, week out you can appear to shrug off them a little bit quicker.
That has helped me. Ive no problem with backing up using a four-day turnaround. I love playing and it is always a special occasion playing with Wales.
Adams was following the visitors trailed 16-0 at half-time in the Wales side that beat France 24-19 at Paris from the Six Nations in February.
France are famous for being able to turn it on and when they do they are extremely dangerous, explained Adams.
Theyve got some quality players. At times in this contest they have looked really excellent. They definitely pose a danger to us.
Wales captain Alun Wyn Jones has advised the squad they are 240 moments from glory that Adams says provides motivation that was huge.
After you say it like this it will put it into perspective just a little bit, doesnt it? said Adams.
But we have got a tough 80 minutes following Sunday.
There isnt any explanation as to why this group of players cant achieve something special.
Weve got belief in each other and from the squad and were all excited moving forwards now.
That is where we wanted to convince ourselves . To be high in the pool provides us the best chance of making it all of the way.
