Week 1 NFL Totals Picks: Over/Under NFL Betting Predictions

Below I will give my brief analysis on each Week 1 total, but be aware, all of my remarks are not created equal and that I will tell you whether the sum is really a pass (no wager ), a lean (nevertheless a no bet but if the line goes favorably it might be worth a wager), and lastly, a bona fide wager, that will count on my official season record. Without further ado, let’s take a look at this season’s week and begin cashing our NFL picks!
Thursday, September 5th, 8:20 PM in Soldier Field
Last time that I checked the Packers failed to make the playoffs and the Bears had one helluva defense, especially.
These groups played each other eight months ago at exactly the exact same place with a point spread and complete. The Bears won 24-17 which meant they covered the number and the total moved low. What’s really changed other than Aaron Rodgers rockin’ the stache?

Sunday, September 8th, 1:00 PM in U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis
The previous two times these teams met they scored an average of 26 1/2 points combined and I am leaning heavily onto the below this in a Week 1 showdown in which Atlanta’s offense may not be fully weaponized while the Vikings’ defense should be poised to plunder.
Free NFL Pick: LEAN UNDER 47 1/2 at BetOnline
Sunday, September 8th, 1:00 PM at Lincoln Financial Field
Both games between these two NFC East rivals went beneath the posted past season. Case Keenum under center for the Redskins does not smack of bombardment and the way eloquent can Carson Wentz be about game day?
I really feel like I am a record so far but I have say the under looks fine to me. The below is 4-0 at the Eagles last four Week 1 match and 10-3 in their last 13 home contests.
Free NFL Pick: BET UNDER 46 at Bookmaker
Sunday, September 8th, 1:00 PM East Rutherford, at MetLife Stadium
I’m not a Jets’ fan but I am a Sam Darnold lover. I think the kid showed enormous strides as the season. And now Le’Veon Bell is at the Jets’ backfield, it allow Darnold to strike with ease and should take the attention.
All that said, it’s hard to forecast exactly what the year two of last year’s bottom third offenses will do to start. I’m staying away.
Free NFL Pick: PASS
Sunday, September 8th, 1:00 PM at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens
This has the sense of a low scoring affair, and that is reflected by that the complete. Young quarterbacks seeking to find their respective footing in what ought to be a offensive grind. Is making this one close to actually bet but if that one climbs a little higher it’s well worth a shot .
Free NFL Pick: LEAN UNDER 37 1/2 in Heritage
Sunday, September 8th, 1:00 PM at TIAA Bank Field
The Jags were a disappointment this past year while the Chiefs jumped into the AFC Championship but fell short. I believe this is going to be a bounce-back season for the Nick and Jags Foles will seem in comparison to Blake Bortles. All of that said, I believe this complete is much too large as the Jags’ defense will probably come to play from a young gunslinger such as Patrick Mahomes.
Free NFL Pick: BET UNDER 52 1/2 at 5Dimes
Sunday, September 8th, 1:00 PM in FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland
Tennessee owned the third-best defense in terms of points allowed last year, allowing an average of 18.9 points per game. I’ve a sense this complete is a wee bit inflated because of the hype machine surrounding Baker Mayfield and his new best friend Odell Beckham Jr.. At a doomsayer of grading, and the risk of sounding like a broken record, I’m leaning under on this one.
Free NFL Pick: LEAN UNDER 45 1/2 at JustBet
Sunday, September 8th, 1:00 PM in Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte
The Rams will aspire to visit slot recipient Cooper Kupp back in uniform after rehabbing a torn ACL that ended his 2018 campaign. But even if this happens, how eloquent will that he be right out?
Carolina’s Cam Newton will attempt to prove he’s back to become Superman but much of his charm is his working ability, which means that the clock ticks, and also dents remain low.
If you are into trends, then think about the entire world has gone in half the Panthers’ last seven Week 1 matches, and the total has gone low in all four of LA’s past four street. I’m going beneath here.
Free NFL Pick: BET under 50 1/2 at Intertops
Sunday, September 8th, 4:05 PM at CenturyLink Field
The Link will be jumpin’ on September 8th since Hawks fans want to see something resembling the vaunted Legion of Boom from a couple of short decades ago. Seattle no longer possesses the team’s most ferocious defense, and Cincinnati’s Andy Dalton ought to be able to maneuver the ball together with Joe Mixon battering throughout the Seattle run-stop unit.
On the flip side, Russell Wilson has 149 million reasons to be amped for this season and a defendant Bengals’ defense ought to be tailormade for plenty of scoring. Allow the streak be broken — move within this one!
Free NFL Pick: BET over 44
Sunday, September 8th, 4:05 PM at Dignity Health Sports Park, Carson
The Colts got a little better on defense last year but would likely soon be without the services of Andrew Luck on crime, heretofore. Like the Colts, their defense was stout last year but although the Bolts can put things on the board in a hurry.
A lot of ifs, buts, and maybes to create a play here. Avoid this one in Week 1 but let’s use the result as a springboard for possible future plays either, or both, in Week 2.
Free NFL Pick: PASS
Sunday, September 8th, 4:25 PM in Raymond James Stadium, Tampa
These two struggling squads were in the bottom third of points allowed last season and I am not sure if their defenses got much better this year. However, what I do understand is that the Niners eventually have their starting quarterback under center as Sweet Jimmy G is going to be eager to hit the ground running.
In the same way, Tampa’s Jameis Winston understands he is at the final year of his rookie deal that is paying him a cool $25 million and if this doesn’t offer him incentive then nothing will.
Winston’s cash train ends unless he uses his God-given talent along with also a weapon of mass destruction called Mike Evans to find another bite at the significant money apple. I see plenty of scoreboard flashes in this one.
Free NFL Pick: BET over 49 1/2 in 5Dimes
Sunday, September 8th, 4:25 PM Glendale, at State Farm Stadium
The Cardinals were ranked dead last in points scored last year which is why they had the worst record, and thus, the best draft pick. Kyler Murray is likely to cure all that ails this desert crime but the jury is out about the hotshot out of Oklahoma U.
The Lions have fought since plucking former Patriots’ offensive coordinator Matt Patricia out of New England. Do you know how this one will turn out? I hope so because I haven’t a clue.
Free NFL Pick: PASS
Sunday, September 8th, 4:25 PM at AT&T Stadium, Arlington
If you’re as infatuated with Daniel Jones as the Giants’ Steel, then great for you however, you won’t be receiving a flavor of this sixth overall pick from Duke since all reports point to Eli Manning receiving the nod to the opener at what will likely be his final year at the league.
On the opposite side, Dak Prescott resembles the hot chick that looks fantastic with the lights down low but every now and again you get a glimpse of her, shall we say, less flattering side. Prescott wins but he’s too inaccurate which makes him a commodity that is confounding.
Oh, and five of the previous six matches have gone between these two NFC East rivals assume it’ll happen again on opening day when the offenses have jelled. Normally I would go low but that I could painfully envision a back pack cover as the culprit with a pick 6.
Free NFL Pick: LEAN beneath 45 1/2 at BetOnline
Sunday, September 8th, 8:20 PM at Gillette Stadium, Foxboro
While the total has gone in four of their past five contests these teams scored a grand total of 27 points in their only meeting last season. Expect the Patriots to do last year, what delivered the Super Bowl to over the high-flying Rams — run the balland control the clock, and then perform smothering defense.
Since Antonio Brown has taken his abilities to Oakland pittsburgh was without Le’Veon Bell last season but will be without another celebrity this season. The New England shield should be stellar this year and I really don’t see Big Ben racking up too many points against the defending Super Bowl champs.
Free NFL Pick: BET beneath 51 at Heritage
Monday, September 9th, 7:10 PM at Mercedes-Benz Superdome, New Orleans
I see a big year for Houston’s DeShaun Watson and a glowing future for New Orleans’ quarterback Drew Brees. Because the verdict about the former is outside just wanted to make sure you’re paying attention but also a ticket to Canton is all but signed, sealed, and sent to the latter.
This should be a fun game with plenty of scoring on both ends. The Saints can score at will while the Texans’ offense was no slouch in 2018, ranked 10th in points. But, Houston’s defense has been ranked fourth in points allowed each year which gives me cause for pause here.
Free NFL Pick: LEAN over 53 in 5Dimes
Monday, September 9th, 10:20 PM at Oakland Coliseum
I think defense and no offense While I think of the Broncos. And I excuse myself and go to the men’s space, when I think of the Raiders. Alright, so you’ve been seeing Gruden and Hard Knocks has really made a believer out of you.
Well, I’m not so sure since preseason signifies jack and you’re going to excuse me when I’m not aflutter about the Raiders’ undefeated preseason (3-0, at the writing). Too many variables with the Brown frostbitten foot and helmet woes of Antonio. Let’s just leave this one alone and wait patiently until Week 2 to determine if the Black and Silver is the real thing.
